I’m no lawyer, but surely Heritage employs lawyers who know perfectly well what they may and may not say to keep their 501c3 status? They’re a non-profit think tank. It’s their mission to produce policy papers. Do people “reporting” them to the IRS think that all nonprofits must be charities?
Reminds me of the ridiculous things many of us tried in 2017 in the Mueller Silly Season. Pointless, performative protest by paperwork.
The only thing that works is organizing, and it doesn’t always.
