GARDENPOSTING: Tomatoes Edition I started... a lot of tomatoes. 89/100 cells of san marzano and romas germinated, transplanted to pots, and were transplanted outside when it was warm enough. A few of them didn't make it, but most of them did and more than a few of those had two plants in one cell/pot (I didn't kill off the smaller ones in a cell/pot "like you're supposed to"). There are also 10 cherry tomato plants (again, multiples in a pot, so more than 10 but it was 10 pots). Most of them are very happy
One bed seems to have been attacked by some sort of mold/ fungus but it looks like the plants are recovering. There's also some basil, oregano, sage, some mints, etc growing around there... and a LOT of borage (which is very pretty) to keep the tomato hornworms away I WILL HAVE ALL THE TOMATOES MWHAHAHA OH and two (romas or san marzano) tomato plants that I took cuttings from last year and kept indoors all winter, growing all weird and spindly, are somehow alive and well outside!
