I was sent an invite code for Twitter-pretender T2 earlier today. I wanted to claim my username on it if it ever becomes a thing (but otherwise won't touch it).
Anyway, it turns out that "jamescridland" as a username is, rather astonishingly, a reserved username. I wonder what's going on there then?
(Similarly, if anyone has a BlueSky invite code, I'm at [email protected] just so I can grab the right username: assuming they've not reserved it).
