Bitcoin is a representation of energy. While energy is an infinite resource (at least in the terms of your life) your personal energy is finite. Meaning you can personally only expend so much energy in a given second, minute, hour day week year or lifetime... So putting a finite number on energy that you can personally represent on a ledger or unit of account only makes sense... Think of the combined energy of every person currently on earth that is expended every single day. What if an individual could capture the representation of their daily energy in the form of money to be collected and used in the future... What if that representation of their daily energy doesn't cost anything to hold and account for, what if that representation holds its unit of account forever and cannot be taken or lost over a lifetime... This is what bitcoin represents.
