PIG SHOTS
1 Block of cream cheese
4oz of shredded cheese
1 tablespoon of chili powder
2 tablespoons of BBQ rub
1 package of bacon
1 package of smoked sausage
Raw honey
Toothpicks
1. Set out cream cheese and allow to soften.
2. Mix cream cheese, shredded cheese, chili powder, and BBQ rub in a bowl.
3. Cut sausage into ½ inch slices.
4. Cut bacon strips in half and wrap bacon around the sausage to create a bowl above the sausage. Secure with a toothpick.
5. Fill the rest of the bacon wrapping with cream cheese mixture and sprinkle more bbq rub on top.
6. Heat the oven to 350 degrees.
7. Place the pig shots on a rack in the oven. Be sure to keep the pig shots off of a pan and out of their drippings.
8. Cook until the bacon looks right (approximately 45-60 minutes).
9. Drizzle with raw honey.
Allow pig shots to cool for at least 10 minutes.
