Would it help to have volunteers to help write the rejection letters, and the assessment team can send a few bullet points over for them to explain to the applicant why their particular project didn’t make it?\n\nAs you know well, it takes a lot to tirelessly work for free, and then to receive zero ‘reason’ for a rejection is rough, and must make it hard to want to continue, since one doesn’t want to work on something that ‘doesn’t make the cut’ without any idea why.",
