It's amazing when you notice how every popular piece of media from the 60s to now tells adults to prioritize their own happiness and to "rebel" against authority, traditions, family, religion, and community and be an "individual." It's turned our society into a bunch of atomized lonely weirdos. No wonder people are trooning out, living online, and committing suicide in record numbers.
