# Firefox (HIGH Spyware)
The default Mozilla Firefox is not the safest or most private browser out there. It has telemetry built in and does not block scripts by default.
Here is a breakdown on what Firefox does, and doesn't do, and [why it is rank at spyware level HIGH](

You can however, set it up to be more secure than the Brave browser by adding script blocking add-ons, and tweaking the settings.
The fastest way to find and change privacy settings is by using the [Firefox profile maker](
http://ffprofile.com/), which creates a profile file, that you copy and paste into your Firefox profile folder.
Also, be sure to install at a minimum these extensions:
- UBlock Origins
- NoScript
(to catch what Ublock lets through)
(must be managed manually)
- AdBlock Plus
(less ads, less spyware)
- Canvas Fingerprint Defender
