Good Morning America should have been accompanied with TEXT - an information service for the deaf and hard-of-hearing - transmitted via the Closed Captioning system. (It was a huge initiative of the ABC network, the National Captioning Institute, and the Federal Government.) I would be very surprised if that didn’t have caption data.
P.S. This caught my eye because GMA started to be captioned around/after the summer of ’84.
