Choose a reliable and well-known VPS or cloud provider. Depending on your level of OpSec, you can go further to choose ones in privacy-friendly countries. Get something with at least 1 CPU and 2GB RAM. Much more is far from micro.

Choose Linux to run on the VPS/instance. Or host from home.

Use a subdomain of a domain you already own or a dynamic free DNS name:
