I may have said this before, but I wish I could bundle this book with a pack of tissues. It's not all bad, but it is a character study in how different people can handle tragedy in different ways.
I gave my sister a copy of the book and she said she wished she could pull Ellie out of the pages and adopt her. A feeling I have as well.
