Wow, I updated my copy of Husky via the F-Droid catalog app and the latest Husky now supports a new Local Post Only setting. This may be a Pleroma only specific feature which would keep Mastodon from posting the toot and leave it in your drafts folder. We'll have to test and see if Mastodon will recognize this fifth class of toot.
Wonder if Husky will now let you edit a toot like Tusky does.
