We’re right at the age when we’re noticing our age. We’re no longer the “young prodigy” or the youngest in the room.
Things have changed, physically, psychologically and emotionally.
We have to come to terms with that. But that doesn’t mean getting fat, lazy, weak or decrepit.
It’s about finding a new peak, in a new chapter of life.

But the two do not necessarily have to be linked and I believe it's a core part of what Dylan Thomas was saying here in his famous quote.
Life is like a flame and it should burn bright until it can no longer burn at all.
When it's our time to leave this Earth, we should do so having given our all. We have one opportunity to live, to love, to laugh, fight, create, conquer, build, produce and experience. It's our duty to make the most of it, no matter the circumstances.
Age and death come for us all, but weakness is a choice - as is strength.
The dimension may change, but the essence remains the same.
