500-byte Movie Review: San Andreas (2015)
Plenty of action, impressive CGI effects, and the right amount of physics-bending (and breaking) for big-budget disaster porn. Most of the budget clearly went for Dwayne Johnson to headline. Most of the rest into SFX. What was left went to bargain-basement writing and casting.
Still, worth it for gratuitous collapsing buildings and the occasional Carla Gugino wardrobe malfunction. Watching Los Angeles get destroyed can never get old. Thumbs up.
