The infographic going around showing how people believe the best music was from their youth is both understandable, from a formative years perspective, but also quite unfortunate that it shows how people lock in. For me, very little of the music I listened to as a youth do I still listen to. Constantly looking out for new bands and albums. My listening is always shifting each year to new and different things. Not even sure genres stay the same. Not to say old stuff is not good, it is, but new stuff is as well, and the best? How could you even define it?
