No. I start considering marketing later on, and it's mostly organic marketing based on building relationships anyway. As for comps, Idk why, but I just can't do it. I blank. I guess my brain just doesn't work this way or something 😅
A few readers compared my first book to Black Mirror (in its earlier days — the book is from 3 years ago), and I can see why it makes sense but I wouldn't have thought of it myself lol
