The longer issue is that I'm struggling a bit with both carb addiction and overeating, I think. Yes, removing caffeine improved my sleep, but it also removed the hunger suppression and the ritual of consuming something - so I started eating more, snacking more, etc. Even if I didn't stray to carbs, I was still eating sometimes twice as much per day as I was before.
So bringing coffee back, just trying to keep it to 1-2 cups per day, and maybe not every day, hoping it will help me get back on track.
This is mostly what my comments about addiction have been referencing as well. Sugar/carb addiction may be my hardest issue to overcome yet, because it is so easy to relapse, and everyone around you expects you to fail (or just eat carbs, if they don't know you're trying not to).
