- Chinese tea exports to Russia increased by 21% year on year to 10,000 metric tons.
- The value of tea supplies from China to Russia rose by 17% to $32 million.
- Russia imported 6,600 metric tons of 'other grades of unfermented green tea', accounting for 66% of total imports.
- Oolong tea was the second most popular type, making up 15% of imports, followed by red tea at 14%.
- Jasmine tea accounted for only 3.6% of imports, or 366 kg.
- Russia ranked fifth among Chinese tea importers in terms of procurement value, after Morocco, Ghana, Malaysia, and Mauritania.
