Great stuff, thanks.

Are you aware of UnchartedX? A youtube guy that examines all this stuff, and more, and comes to similar conclusions.

Basically there is overwhelming evidence from Egypt and other places that civilizations existed far earlier than recognized, and they had technologies that appear comparable to ours - eg stone vases machined to precision that we are only recently able to even measure, and evidence of large-scale stonecutting in granite with powered saws (when the Egyptians were supposed to not have the wheel).

As you say there are also strong indications from geology and traditional myths that earth suffered a catastrophic event, which would be consistent with that prior civilization being wiped out.

Plus as I understand it modern humans had completed evolution (ie had all our current capacities) 300k years ago. But the standard history of the species says that nothing at all happened for ~295k of those years, and then out of nowhere technology started to be developed for no apparent reason. Which obviously seems nonsensical.

This is a good vid from the guy if interested - https://youtu.be/V7gEG5N8_wo?si=tZ9EkfbEYdVQmGvX
