There are other ways of using physical media for those but I think that if we see ourselves as consumers of media in a market then our money is a vote and when we vote for streaming we are voting to “own nothing and be happy” but when we vote for the discs we are defunding streaming and if they want our money then they will have to deliver physical media. It’s a low time preference battle for sovereignty, just like Nostr & bitcoin
