#WordWeavers 19Dec- Do you write sympathetic antagonists? Why or why not?
The main three in the series are pretty moustache-twirling, though I could tell you things about their backstories that would make you empathize. The problem is realism in depicting the far right—they're so cartoonish that I need to tone it down. I do think it's important that the reader understand the reasons people do or go along with evil things, and the antagonist in the first book is imo sympathetic.
