Billy McFarland, the convicted fraudster responsible for the infamous 2017 Fyre Festival, is released from prison and back with a new venture, says The Wall Street Journal: Fyre Festival II. He still owes the investors of his last disaster $26m, doesn’t know where or when the event will be or who’s performing. But he says it’s “definitely happening, 100% for-sure.” After all, he says, he’s already sold tickets – 100 VIP passes for $549.89 a pop. Some people never learn.
