I’ve always had a flexible film post-production job to help keep my income stable with freelancing.
But the strikes have previously had everyone laid off (back in 2006, etc).
So when freelancing started going belly up with the whole ChatGPT bullshit at the same time as the film industry going on strike, it got terrifying.
But it turns out there’s post work until the New Year, and I can even increase my hours.
So much relief.
