I thought Germany would be forced to inflate-away the purchasing power of the pensions and retirement payments, but they seem to be solving the demographic payment problems in a more-targeted way, by financially starving public services aimed disproportionally at older people, like hospitals for adults, therapy centers, care homes, public baths, and etc.
Children's hospitals, schools and universities, speech therapy kindergardens, etc. are not being similarly effected.
