I kind of confessed to my female friend that I felt more shocked when a gender-critical woman stated the truth. I also admitted that when I heard Helen Joyce strongly criticize trans-identified people, I thought she acted not like a "woman", almost too cruel to the others. (Though at the same time I understood that everything she said was right.) However, if the same words were spoken by Isaac, I felt more convinced. Sometimes I realize where this difference comes from but sometimes I don't. And it is very hard to resist the implanted idea of a "masculine authority". My female friend told me that since we both were raised in such a misogynistic Taiwanese society, we naturally would hold a "meaner" attitude towards women than men. Still, I do hope that one day women will trust women more than men. Especially when we need more female partners in this fight against gender ideology.
