Thank you for your thoughts, I like them.

What I was thinking was with the emphasis on Competence. If I do something, like you mention, without the skills, I'm not competent.
If I do something based on the lie that I can do something I've never done, it won't come across as competence.
So, when someone is competent, you can see the truth in their actions, (as you say) the fitness, adequacy, suitability, skilledness.
If that makes any sense?

Fiat lies and doesn't have competence, #bitcoin tells the truth, and is competent (does the thing it's supposed to do really well).
