Mississippi is joining eight other states in a lawsuit attempting to block efforts by the administration of Biden-Harris to make voter registration easier. Mississippi Gov. Tate Reeves, Secretary of State Michael Watson, and Attorney General Lynn Fitch filed the lawsuit in the U.S. District Court for the District of Kansas. Joining the complaint were Iowa, Kansas, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Carolina, and South Dakota. They oppose an executive order issued instructing federal agencies to develop strategies to expand voter registration efforts 🇺🇸
