I do think it says something, that Westerners will talk for days about an injustice suffered by few thousand women (and men) in early modern Europe.
More "witches" than that are killed every year in the 2020s, but no one cares about old women in Africa, India etc.
If you mention it in real life, White people shuffle their feet and go back to their desks.
