I suspect the ideal size of an #ActivityPub server to be around 100-200 people. It’s very possible to scale way past that size, though it becomes exponentially harder to do in a responsible manner with every 10x 100x 1000x multiplier of co-tenants.
Let’s not fight our current state of evolution as a tribally oriented species. We don’t make very good hive-minds of our collective consciousnesses yet, but the #opensocialweb glue of the #fediverse will get us there eventually.
