Well, I recently learned of the #Enneagram of Personality, and decided to take a test to determine where my personality lies. Turns out I'm a type 4 personality type, the "Individualist".
As I studied up on that personality type, I started to reflect on my own past experiences, and it fit me to a T. Gave me insight on what my needs are, and I started to make peace with a lot of my quirks and behaviors in the process. I truly feel like I can move forward now, without all that shame weighing me down.
