HUGE BRREAKING: A bill protecting your ‘fundamental #Bitcoin Rights' is sent to the Governor’s Desk in Louisiana after passing the House and Senate
The bill (HB 488) championed by longtime digital asset leader @WrightLouisiana does the following:
✅Protects the right to self-custody
✅Protects the right to spend and accept #Bitcoin
✅Protects #Bitcoin mining in industrial areas
✅Bans the Louisiana government from accepting Payment in a Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDCs)
Louisiana is a leader in energy and this legislation has the opportunity to turbo charge its mining industry!
HB 488 will also ensure that the people’s fundamental rights to transact with the virtual currency of their choice is protected while making a stand against government controlled CBDCs which removes our privacy.
