As stated above, they are directly taken from the repositories of their respective developers. Some basic measures are taken, though\"\n\nThe APKs are scanned with VirusTotal, and then given a security ranking according to that result. See the 👉 [IzzyOnDroid Security Section](https://apt.izzysoft.de/fdroid/index/info#security).\n\nTo add the repository, go to their 👉 [web page](https://apt.izzysoft.de/fdroid), tap and share the QRCode image to your QRCode app, where you need to copy the info to your clipboard.\n ([Barcode scanner](https://f-droid.org/en/packages/com.atharok.barcodescanner/) can do this)\n\nThen you open F-Droid, and go to\n- Settings\n - Repositories\n - plus sign (in the upper right)\n\nA window pops up w/boxes auto populated.
