This is a good idea, I'll copy it for my new version of binary encoding.

In some https://github.com/fiatjaf/eventstore indexes I was also compacting the "a" references into raw bytes since they're necessarily <kind><pubkey><string>. I don't know if it's good but it made me feel better.
