I've been at a astrophysics conference for the last week. One of the speakers told a story about how he once published a paper showing that a lot of papers were basically doing math wrong (making up notation, using notation wrong, and then jumping to false conclusions based off that bad notation). He received so much hate that he decided he would never do that again.RT:
