+1 for pipepipe ,
I especially like the ability to block channels from the recommended and search result sections, plus there's an option to pin the video to the top of the screen so you can scroll and read comments without the video scrolling out of sight:)
When it doesn't work, I use brave browser, which let's me queue videos and listen in the background (sometimes gotta login to YouTube tho, but that's fine... shrug)
