In the physical world, our freedom of speech is protected by kinetic power (e.g., guns/arms).
In cyberspace, our freedom of speech—including the transfer of financial information—is safeguarded by electrical power, specifically through Proof-of-Work (PoW) infrastructure.
This leads to several profound implications with significant, yet largely unrecognized, consequences:
(1) PoW networks are, in fact, cyber defense weapon systems & represent a revolutionary approach to cybersecurity.
(2) Americans probably have a constitutional right under the 2nd Amendment (not just the 1st) to operate their own PoW machines.
(3) We are currently engaged in a global-scale international cyber war (5th domain WW3), yet most people remain blissfully unaware, distracted by the allure of "number go up."
(4) This war has largely been fought & won without public awareness, leading to an unprecedented shift in the balance of power. Private entities & individuals who recognized the opportunity & outmaneuvered their govts will wield more cyber power than entire nation-states.
(5) PoW-backed security will become integral to every major web-accessible application in the future, making PoW tokens far more valuable than "digital gold."
(6) It’s only a matter of time before tech leaders like Elon Musk realize that the only way to safeguard free speech on internet platforms like X is to integrate them with the world's largest PoW network, making PoW networks a fundamental part of the global internet architecture.
(7) People are grossly underestimating the true value of PoW networks, as their capabilities far exceed their original use case as a peer-to-peer financial system. PoW networks have the potential to revolutionize not only financial systems but also cybersecurity, national security, global power competition and warfare, human governance, and the very fabric of computing and digital communication, reshaping global power dynamics in ways we have yet to fully comprehend.
What JFK said about US & space applies to cyberspace now: "The exploration of <<cyber>> space will go ahead, whether we join in it or not... And no nation which expects to be the leader of other nations can expect to stay behind in this race for <<cyber>> space."
To be a leader of Nations, US must have:
Land Power
Sea Power
Air Power
Space Power
Cyber Power
