This is wild Greek oregano (you can find it in some places in Turkyie too), a subspecies of Origanum vulgare, meaning the best oregano there is in the world. The difference with other oreganos is quite big.


It is really essential for the Mediterranean food and of course you will find it in pizza too (if they have greek oregano)
I started the gathering today

I will "hunt" it for 15 days or so and cover the amount i need for the year. I also exchange some with honey (greek honey is also fucking great)
