The same thing happened a few months ago when the Cyber Resilience Act came into force. Everyone freaked out, but 5 minutes of googling showed that it's not great, but also far from "EU bans open source" and "open source devs are now liable for any damages".

When googling I found top 100 articles writing garbage about this topic. any news website that has a word "coin" in it is a scam...! Be Positive.. They did not outright ban self-custodial wallets..! which is the good first step...
