Of all the things I've learned about JD Vance, I didn't expect to learn that he used to be a big Magic: The Gathering player but gave it up for the minge.
Perhaps the thing most entertaining about this is that his claimed favorite deck was built around Yawgmoth's Bargain, a card that was eventually banned. Loving a broken deck that got banned because it was toxic and annoying is the most on-brand way JD could possibly like MtG, it's incredible.
