First off I wouldn't recognize many German artists names so there is that but my ears weren't being fooled. Without exaggeration, every song I listened to from TexMex, Pop, Blues and more, were all AI. I could tell instantly.
Just before I left to travel a friend brought me to his studio and demoed AI song writing. The blueprint stuck in my head and I can now hear it a mile away. Yes it's still new and will improve vastly but I think I know what's missing from the AI tunes, at least the Texas blues, country and some jazz... there is no soul. Literally, without a human putting a part of themselves into the song, it has no soul.
Modern TikTok jams won't matter there is no soul in these anyway but the music that still makes you go, "damn that was tasty" will not be faked.
Listen with your soul.
