This was a super bullish episode! The rise of the solo/small miner is so positive for bitcoin.
This episode also highlights why ODELL (npub1qny…95gx) is my favorite bitcoiner. He does an amazing job of bridging the gap between the technical and non-technical worlds of bitcoin, while always striving to highlight the tradeoffs between different paths.
I came to bitcoin from the finance side, but my technical chops have gotten pretty decent over the past few years from listening to Citadel Dispatch and trying my hand at some of the projects mentioned...MyNode, Sparrow, Seedsigner, Start9 and getting my beef directly from a rancher, just to name a few. I will probably add FutureBit and/or Bitaxe to that list.
I might wear a suit while I'm mining fiat, but I'm rocking my CD hat for beers after.
