That was one of the things that people were suggesting she might do. She cold have; it would violate the speedy-trial laws, of course, but I assume that defendants can waive those, as they can in state courts. I still think she's in Trump's pocket and I still think she'll do something blatant to tank the case, and I hope the Eleventh Circuit slaps her down again when she does, but at least she didn't do this particular blatant thing. So that's something.
