they are losing now. Not super hard, but losing ground. And I don't see them stopping the momentum either, so expect peace talks under Trump in 2025, with massive amount of land given to Russia. Everything east of Dnieper river, plus maybe whatever Russia can capture between now and then.
Probably more land than if Ukraine had talked peace immediately after success of defending Kiev. And many thousands less dead....
