if were talking base layer btc, eth benefits from having accounts for an individual wallet that reuses the same address, and its run by a corporation, so that makes hosting and maintaining domain infrastructure a lot easier when ur coin has an entity that centralizes these processes on behalf of its users. Tradeoffs abound.
