How QE and QT steal from you
Quantitative easing steals from you through inflation. The government printing money to fund it's frivolous expendagers. This leads to the money supply being diluted, causing the purchasing power of the money to depreciate. Because the elites have the means to invest the majority of their wealth they are able to preserve their purchasing power. However, this is not the norm for middle to low class citizens. Instead, they are forced to pay for the inflation through rising cost of living.
The government prints money so recklessly that they have to take action to slow down the run away inflation. They do this through quantitative tightening, meaning the central bank raises interest rates, forcing all banks to also raise their interest rates, so they can continue to earn revenue. This then gets passed down to the middle and lower class again as they are the ones lending from the bank to pay for cars, housing, or investments.
