**Nostr ruined my Christmas!**

Last week, I was fixin' to relax for the holidays. Then I saw Nostr blowing up and I knew the Nostriches would need a good web interface. And so that's what I spent Christmas doing. My family hates you all but the world got a great new front end for the latest decentralized social sensation, so swings and roundabouts I guess. I've added full read/write of Nostr to the #Member project.

**How to use it**
1. Click 'Start'
2. Click 'Make New Phrase'
3. Click 'Login'

*Make sure to keep a note of your passphrase.*

**First steps**
It's a good idea to set your profile info first. Do this at
1. Hamburger Menu(top right)->Settings
2. Choose a handle (and click update).
3. Choose some profile text (and click update).
4. Choose a profile pic (this might take a little while before it appears).

Notifications can also be filtered by rating/membrain score. Default 2 stars.

**What I'm working on**
Hashtag subscriptions - these will allow you to subscribe to hashtags, and filter similar to above.
Ratings - these allow you to rate and comment on other accounts. Useful for Web of Trust.
Moderation - this will allow you to volunteer to mod a community - like a subreddit - based around all the posts made with a hashtag.
Private messages - soon!

**"But I already got a Nostr account buddy, what am I gonna do?"**
No problem - there are two options.
1. Install the browser extension nos2x. Add your keys and relays.
2. Go to Hamburger Menu(top right)->Settings.
3. Enter your public key and Click 'Link'. -> you're good to go! Member will use your existing key.

Or
1. Go to Hamburger Menu(top right)->Settings.
2. Use Different Nostr Account (Private Key) -> Enter your hex private key
3. Click 'Switch' -> your public key should appear below.
4. Click Link. -> you're good to go! Member will use your existing key.

**A Note on the Member project.**
Member exists as a bridge between multiple decentralized social networks. You might see some references to other projects. Don't get mad! We live in a world with many interesting people with different views and we want everybody to be able to talk in a public square. You'll see a small icon on each post that indicates which network it originates from, you can reply across different networks, but you'll get best results if you focus on Nostr posts. If you have accounts on other networks (Bitclout, Memo, Member), you can link those accounts so your posts will automatically be posted there too.
