There are only two rare goods on the internet: bitcoin and attention. Even though attention has been trading for about 20 years, people have not previously had the technical ability to sell their attention on their own. Only Zuckerberg could.

In nostr, I noticed that people willingly participate in sats giveaways. "Like, repost, comment and get 100 sats". They see it as a fair deal. Because people undervalue their attention. This means that anyone who offers more than Zuckerberg (greater than zero) for their attention will get everything.

Of course, there are many technical problems. If you look at the Fountain with their get-paid-for-listen scheme, they were attacked by bots. We have yet to solve the proof-of-attention problem. But as soon as we learn to understand that this is a living person who has devoted his time to us, the market of advertising and mass entertainment will change forever.

I don't expect the next billion to be hodlers. They will get their first sat for watching cheap movies with native ad integrations.

The attention of billions is already on the Internet.
All we have to do is buy it for sats directly from them.
