I don’t entirely disagree with SCOTUS today on the question of who gets to disqualify candidates for federal office, but the glaring contrast between their feelings on this issue of federalism vs abortion or gun rights is something they’re going to have to figure out if they want to retain any semblance of legitimacy. Oh, and the conservatives’ flagrant separation of powers power grab in their decision is horse shit.
