Not sure if it’s a western thing, but people like to make questionable claims that serve as a clickbait while not showing any backing data or sources. This is factually incorrect, there are tons of small relays that are online and working 🐶🐾🫡

About 85% of nostr's relay network is now offline. We are down to about only 10 relays that are still working well. This number could go either way in the next year, up to 20, or down to 5. There are competing forces of centralization, decenralization and trickle down economics at play. I hope more people run relays and the network gets more support.
