I agree with all that. I recognize the situation of war in which el Salvador was, and how he fixed it. In fact, I think he managed to do it in a way that was a lot softer than I would have imagined it would require.

My disagreements with him are that he is not for a limited government but rather the opposite, and that his social views are squarely collectivist. The individual is subject to whatever "the majority" dictates. As interpreted by him, of course.
